You guys, exactly a year ago today I married my best friend! Marriage is a big step, no matter what age, gender, or person you are. It's a commitment that two people create for a lifetime and that can be quite scary for some.
Marriage is hard work, it's no longer about YOU but about creating this partnership with someone and becoming a combined puzzle piece. My husband and I are no strangers to each other, we met in high-school, and have been dating ever sense! Bizarre, I know, I constantly have people ask "well did you guys take a break?" or "Did you mess around and see other people?" "There's no way you guys lasted that long!" Overall, love, dating, marriage, is hard work. It's not going to always be easy but if you treat love like a plant, nurture it, water it, and keep it safe then it will last a lifetime. Until next time.
