I am obsessed with polka dots in everything I wear. Not only are they super girly and fun but they can add a bit of sophistication to your wardrobe as well. Now, if you're associating polka dots with your old childhood dress, or shoes you wore with ribbons in your hair, it's time to re-examine the polka dot trend. Not only can you wear polka dots on your pants, skirts, and shirts, but I am even seeing them  on shoes as well. Versatility is key for me because I want something I can wear for all the seasons as well. Thus, polka dots are my favorite, because they can be matched with different items throughout the year.

I paired my skirt with a bright highlighter teal shirt. We all know I'm a color addict so I had to brighten this yellow polka dot skirt, from J Crew, with a lovely blouse that I also got from J Crew. This look is perfect for a summer night, either in the business office, or night out with some friends. Since polka dots are making there way into my everyday wardrobe I decided to list my top 3 ways that I like wearing polka dots! I know a lot of people get scarred to put such a bold pattern and incorporate it into their everyday life. We all know work is a huge part of our everyday life. There is this stigma that we have to dress casually allowing all of the creativity of coming up with different patterns to be obsolete. However, this outfit is perfect for a autumn! Can you feel the crimson leaves crunch underneath your feet? Can you spell the pumpkin and tender breeze against your face? This outfit is ideal because not only does the mustard skirt complement the tied blouse but the polka dot sweater adds a bit of fun to a very casual outfit. I love the bow tie trend because it's super classy and exciting. My neck is one of my favorite parts of my body and lovely bows, like these, accentuate your neck making it look long and regal. This is the perfect outfit for messy hair days, you know, those days you want to just throw your hair in a bun. Shirts like these, paired with a messy bun, look super well put together. Polka dots can also be perfect for the spring weather. We all know when March and April approach we are going through the motions, trying to get back, and hurry up to summer. The weather is slightly warmer, and we aren't freezing our tails off like we normally do. This little attire is the perfect amount of glam, and color, for the spring months. Not only is this outfit super sophisticated, taking a different step, by wearing polka dot pants, but it's bright enough to make that spring day seem a bit more sunnier. I am obsessed with this color combination anytime you pair a navy color with some pink it's always a great love affair. We all know the crazy, colorless, winter months are approaching but just because it's grey outside doesn't mean our fashion has to be! Pairing these items together can bring a bit of edge to your wardrobe. Now, this is a perfect outfit for people who aren't too fond of skirts or dresses and want something better suited for them. Wearing a bright color pants can also make your waist look longer and slimmer flattering all different sizes of body types. Now, if the brightness is out of your comfort zone, that's okay! Do what makes you feel special, you can pair this with a solid pair of black pants and get the same fun and funky effect.
