Pride with the Mix
Hey guys happy Monday! I had so much fun being in my first ever parade! It's always been a dream of mine to be in an actual float, so I was thrilled to be in the 2019 Pride Parade float with one of my fav stations, 101.9 The Mix. One of the beautiful things about doing blogging is I get to reach for the stars sometimes. There are things that I hope to check off my bucket list and luckily I can do so for this. It's always such a surreal feeling when blogging allows me to check some cool things off my box of 'goals and lifetime dreams.' I was so thankful to be a part of this amazing event and see all the beautiful people that came out to celebrate. Although it rained, it didn't stop our parade! I wanted to show you guys some of the highlights from the day. I want to give a huge shout out to my amazing husband who stood by me through literally the rain and storm to take these highlights and pictures, he is the real MVP. Also, it was so nice meeting a fellow Chicago blogger, Carlita, who was so amazing to work with. Once again, thanks so much The Mix for allowing me to be apart of your awesome float!
