Favorite White Labor Day Attire

Who said you can't wear white?

They say that you can't wear white after labor day, but, I've never been the person to follow all the fashion rules. If you did where would the fun in that be? Normally, I am a colorful person, matching and fusing different funky colors together. However, as we get closer to that awesome 3 day weekend I know a lot of people have been wondering what they could wear for Labor day. Between bonfires, bbqs, and beaches the options are limitless. However, since some people believe it's a huge NO NO to wear white afterwards, I am listing my top favorite labor day outfits incorporating the color WHITE! Maybe just maybe I might persuade you to change your mind.

The Black & White Lined Skirt

The fall is slowly approaching and that means that the longer, sweater looking shirts are coming back into style. I love wearing these because you can pair so many different accessories with this shirt. You can get an infinity scarf which is always my fav, or you can go with some nice decorative jewelry to bring the entire outfit together. I paired this black long sleeved shirt with a black and white lined skirt from Forever 21.  I love these solid colors fusing together and this outfit would be perfect for a nice Labor day party. It's simple but fun and the best part is you can make it more 'going out' friendly by adding these adorable pumps that I also got from Forever 21 as well. Maybe you want to keep it simple so  wear some nice comfortable sandals to make it more casual.  The options are endless with this one, so have a bit of fun playing around with it!

The White Romper

Nothing says sophistication like a lace or sheer white romper. I am obsessed with rompers because they are so multifaceted you can wear them casually or in a club. It all depends on the heels you pair it with, the make up, and the proper jewelry.  I picked these two awesome rompers because I think both would be ideal for the Labor Day weekend. Imagine eating all the barbecue you want and not feeling self-conscience because rompers can be form fitting and flattering for all body types. I will only say this once but I absolutely love white skinny jeans. There's so many different elements to them, they can be ripped, stretchy, or perfectly sculpting and it's that versatility which makes me love it so much. I am a huge fan of wearing a jean shirt tucked inside of white skinny jeans. Not only is it super cute and colorful, but it's also classy and perfect for any occasion and body type. The skinny jeans are great for when you're going out to meet some friends for some drinks or eating at a family's cookout. They're also perfect if you want to keep the party going for a night on the town, let's face it, it IS a long weekend, might as well live it up. If you want to be comfortable pair it with some nice nude flats, or colorful ones, if you want to dress it up add some fun and funky heels. Overall, don't let certain rules define who you are! Fashion is about discovering you and having fun along the way. I love the long weekends because it's the perfect way to catch up with the people most important to you, whether that be friends, family, or the significant other in your life. Make your time meaningful, enjoy yourself, and I hope that these white essentials will make your outfit ideas a bit easier!
