It's always fun to spend some meaningful time with friends and people you care about! There are always fun places in the city to discover and I had the opportunity to stumble across Winestyr. Everyone can appreciate a great bottle of wine, in fact the saying goes "wine a little because it's not good to keep things bottled up". Winestyr was the perfect place to go because not only was it centrally located, in the West Loop, with parking (it's difficult to find that in the city) but it allowed me to try different types of wines, ones that I may have never experienced otherwise! They take their time to really dive into wines, selecting the best curated wines, ones that truly stand out. Did I mention they serve appetizers there which are to die for? The decor in the lounge was relaxing, classic, and a great place for people to chat and learn about wonderful wines! I know personally I enjoy white wine, however, while I was there with a friend, I tried some red wines that I found appealing as well. Everyone there is extremely friendly, we had the opportunity to meet Scott Washburn, who seemed quite passionate about Winestyr and what they stand for. Clair Bobrow, their fabulous marketing intern, also made our experience worth while. She explained how the club service works, along with all the different types of wines we were tasting. Everyone at Winestyr seemed to be having a luxurious time, they were either sitting back on the plushy brown couches, or sitting at the bar speaking with the bartender of the night, Donnie. Everyone makes you feel comfortable and are sure to answer any questions that you may have. The best part is if you signup, you have great perks of not only getting some great untasted wines, but you have access to member-only events such as meeting and learning from one of their very own wine makers! Overall, it was a great place to explore wines, chat, and have a great little night out. I implore you all to make a reservation and try something different, you never know what you may fall in love with. Reservations are available from Wednesday-Friday, 4:30-8:30 PM for small groups of 2-8. You can contact Andrienne Eways, a wine consultant, at [email protected] for more information! You may also contact them on their Instagram, let them know I sent you! So if you're looking for something different to do, and want to learn more about pristine wines, I suggest you go and try Winestyr, at the end of the day, wine not! Until next time happy Friday!
